I have installed squeeze 6.0.0 as a base install from: Network install from a minimal CD.
Debian -- Network install from a minimal CD
i do see a lot of information on the various #apt commands , yet is is all garble goop as far as trying to make sense of where to begin at to install commands/programs.

Hi,
I am trying to install fedora 10 kickstart on my server.
But I can't, because my kickstart installation hangs at post install scripts.
It is not showing any message & stopped.
What could be the problem in this case.
Please help me.
Is there a guide that would show me how to get a minimal Ubuntu install setup.
The only things I need are the base OS, Synaptic package manager, a GUI, Wireless network card support and Chrome browser.
I don't need any of the extra bloatware that comes with the average OS install.
Thank you
I am new to the Kickstart. I have a question:
If I have a kickstart script in USB, CentOS CD and a PC without the OS, Can I install the CentOS with the Kickstart script?
If I can,
How can I identify the location of the kickstart when I boot the computer with the CentOS CD?
I am creating a kickstart file, and I want to install certain Package Groups in the %packages section. I prefer to install Package Groups, and therefore use the @packagegroup syntax:
%packages
@Base
@Core
@Perl
I need to find the correct group package name which is compatible with Kickstart/Anaconda, but Kickstart only seems to recognize certain abbreviated names for a package group.
For some reason this morning Unity decided that instead of running Firefox 16, I'm actually running Minefield 3.5.
