Quick question on RJ-45 cable. I ran ethernet cable, this cable is about 200 feet long. I only need 100 feet cable, does the extra length going to hurt in terms of speed or signal? Please advise.
I have a Cat7 cable Draka Comteq UC600 Super Screen 27 4P Category 7 S/STP IEC 61156-6 FRNC. I wired with two RJ45 connectors using T568B on both ends.
The stripped part at the end is approximately 1 cm (0.4 inches) and the total cable length is less than 6m (20 feet).
I'm trying to understand the actual meaning behind the the Quick Charge 2.0
Let's start with the cable:
The only parameter is the AWG ( as I read the recommendtions are for 3 feet (1 meter) is 24/28 wire gauge) ?
There is no special chip or support by the cable (as apple has the MFI for their cables)?
I had good experience the original LG cable (the one that comes with G2,G3,G4)
