I was wondering if digital drawing boards (Handwriting Tablets, Pen Tablets, Drawing Tablets, Graphics Tablets) are supported in Ubuntu for presentations, pointing devices and normal drawing. For example:
The reason I ask is for some video tutorials I am making and it would make my life a little easier to explain some stuff while drawing it.
I am working on an Android application where I am using a single OpenGL ES instance. In some instances, I am drawing a custom (rectangular) dialog ontop of everything else, with scrolling text, lines, etc.
Hi,
I'm wanting to know what would be a good Linux compatible drawing pad/tablet that I can use for drawing animation and sprites. Would I be able to link it with GIMP?
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 with a semi powerful GPU and quad core CPU w/8GB memory.
Thanks!
Memorize shapes, Draw, Get smart evaluation, Rescue Mermaid.
Drawing Drills is a casual drawing game that challenges you to memorize different shapes and to draw them accurately. The smart evaluation engine shows you a comparison of your drawing with the original shape and gives you a score instantly. As you make progress, it presents tougher challenges.

Hey guys,
I want your help to find out a sketching / drawing app for my ICS tablet. I know there are many sketching apps but what I want am not gotten yet.
My criteria are a free app with many tools. Mainly which functions I want are the ability of inserting shapes like circles or rectangles, which will be drag-able and re-sizable.
After using Ubuntu for a while, application windows will begin to stop drawing. The application will continue to run (if I'm using keyboard shortcuts, the application exhibits normal behavior, like saving files and opening popups), but certain windows just have no content in them.
An example screenshot
UMongo has a window, but nothing inside is drawing.
