Question about creating widgets with Tasker

http://androidforums.com – Simple question, can I create widgets with Tasker to change settings? For example, say I create a widget called "Work", when I press that widget I want it to lower the volumes (ring and notification), disable vibrate (very important), turn off WiFi and haptic feedback. Then I want a widget called "Car" when I press it it will turn the screen brightness all the way up, turn on GPS, launch Waze, etc. Is this possible? My extensive Google search didn't give me a straight answer. (General)

Is it possible for Tasker to remove/replace widgets by other apps. I want to switch out my music widgets (Google Play Music and Moodagent) depending on which app was used last.

Would it be possible to make a shell script or edit settings in android to change the widget?

I've got a frustrating problem: I tried to put some widgets on my screen and can't do it. I tap "Apps", select "Widgets", then tap and hold the widget, then drag the widget to the part of the screen I want it on and release. The program opens after I release the widget but the widget does not stay on the screen. Can't figure out what the problem is. Running Android 4.1.1

Ubuntu 12.10 has introduced among other things Unity launcher widgets that show, for example, unread Gmail message counts, twitter tweets, etc.

every time i try to add a widget to my homescreen from my app drawer, i long press a widget like system tools and I get "WARNING...install Holo launcher HD as system app to use the widgets tab (root required), otherwise you can only add widgets by long press on desktop". I'm rooted, by the way. any suggestions?

I have used curve fish's switch Widgets to turn on/off sound brightness and wifi on my widget locker.

Is there any Widgets that are not as big or even ones in text form to carry ou these tasks?
