[Q]Mini ST15i root / unlock bootloader

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hi guys... Last week my xperia mini ST15i just updated to 4.1.B.0.587 I am going to root, unlock bootloader and install custom rom on my phone, but looks like there is no clear instruction on how to root it... And lastly, should I unlock the bootloader before root or after rooting (HowTos)

I need some serious help here. I've been screwing around for about a good 4-5 hours now just trying to get this phone on a newer ROM like ICS.

So I have a T-Mobile Fascinate/Vibrant (model a3lsght959). I've tried following part 6 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1238070 and it always fails on the first ODIN flash.

Does any developer know of a way to substitute the stock kernel in a note 2 with one that allows the app2sd init,d script.

my note 2 is rooted and has CWM but other than that no other changes.
