I did the jb update a few days ago. Tonight I had to charge the tab 2 (7.0)..when it was ICS OS and turned off plugged in and charging the battery was green. Since the update to JB...it is now gold when charging..but only on the charging mode. When using the tablet it is always green.

I just got a RocketFish USB wall charger with 2.4 amps and 5 Volts. The charge meter that I am using is telling me that it is charging at 50 mA. I also notice that when I try to turn it off to charge, it will have a red 'X' on the battery icon when I turn it back on while it wasn't there.
Is it safe to be charging it with this charger?
Not sure if anyone of you experienced this problem before.
It occurred to me that my charging from socket is so much slower than normal, thus I downloaded current widget to check the current that is charging, and it turns out that it is charging at USB speed, and in my Battery information in Settings, it is displayed as USB charging instead of AC charging.

My Tab2 is plugged in... Outlet works.... And it even has the battery that appears in the screen while charging... The battery picture on the screen looks like it is "filling up"; however, it is yellow not green. I have now had it plugged in for an hour and it still will not turn on or the battery even turn green.... Now what?
I have only had this phone a week and have had multiple problems charging it. I am using the Motorola charger it came with and am charging it in the wall. It will appear as if it is charging but when I get up in the morning it isn't uncommon for the battery to be lower than it was when I started charging it. I have tried other outlets in my house too.

I have been using the Wireless charging pad and card for a few weeks now and love it. I also noticed that the charging pad works with my friends LG Spectrum 2 and a few other devices with the Qi Wireless charging adapter added to it. This is easily the best charging pad there is for the Galaxy S4 and I would recommend it to anyone looking for Wireless charging for any device.
