[Q]How to load Bootanimation & Customize ICONS

http://forum.xda-developers.com – For some several days i was wondering if i can change my bootanimation and customize various icons on my app drawer. I searched out the forum and did download two software name BootAnimationCreator and BootAnimationFactory. Did also downloaded a custom animation from ICS THEME thread. My device is rooted and am using a custom kernel.My Questions are.. # How do i load the animations on my device ( Xperia S) ? What tools do i need on PC and over my Device to make it work? # How can i change icons? I can only change the icons on homescreen with GO LAUNCHER. But what should i do to change the ic (HowTos)

I'm using Lubuntu 12.04.1 on a 64bit machine. I'm trying to change my icons to the suede set, but only the gnome icons load. I've tried installing the suede theme manually by downloading it from gnome-look.org and extracting to /usr/share/icons/ and also by installing via Synaptic.

This phone has become so laggy that its almost unbearable to use. It is rooted using the OC DTM Kernel with Nova homescreen. Going to homescreen from a game, sometimes it will take 30sec-40sec to load. Opening the drawer, can take the same time for the icons to load. Most apps are also slow and some movies are showing lag too.

I just installed my-humanity icon theme on my Ubuntu 12.10 but i have an issue :

I extracted the archive to /usr/share/icons or/and to ~/.icons but when i apply the icon theme from gnome twek tool home folders icons dont update but stay to Ubuntu mono dark default icons.

In this question I do not want to customize the launcher for each workspace, or change the animations or behaviors of the icons. I only want to change how the background of the Launcher looks. Let me show you what I mean:

I am trying to make a CyanogenMod icon theme and I need to ask a few questions: What do you do if you want to change icons of an app on SD? Do you push and then make a folder? How do you change the icons of Google Apps (ie Play Store, Gmail)?

Can anyone help me?

There are many articles online (and posts on AC) explaining how to change the default tray icons on the S2 and S3. However, these methods do not work for the S4 as the tray icons do not appear when you open the app drawer in edit mode (even when viewing as Customizable Grid).

When I choose icons for my desktop-files, I have the issue that a lot of them will not load in Tint2, especially the action-icons. What could cause this? Furthermore, when I look in /usr/share/icons there are a couple of Faenza-Crunchbang folders, but there seems to be very little inside the folders. Can I get these icons anywhere else?

hi, i tried looking for xperia icons but haven found done that works with jb. keeping getting Installation aborted when flashing it with cwm. does anyone know where i can find xperia icons that works with s2 on jb. thanks. btw i am using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1557091 launcher but not all the icons are the xperia icons such as the phone, contacts, camera, etc...
