Hi to all,I'm new to Chakra.I'm ok with everything except this: as I like transparency for windows, I installed the oxygen-transparent and the Qtcurve themes, but neither of them works, although I modify the level of opacity. They appear as normal themes, without transparency.What's the reason in your opinion?I have nvidia drivers installed.Thank you in advance for answering.
opening quantum gis in konsole gives the following warnings:(btw, i am working as a geospatial analyst)_________________________________________________________________________Warning: loading of qgis translation failed [/usr/share/qgis/i18n//qgis_en_PH]Warning: loading of qt translation failed [/usr/share/qt/translations/qt_en_PH]___________________________________________________________________
Hi all,
Since I upgraded to fedora 18 from 17, my transparent KDE panel repeatedly looses its transparency. I switch back and forth between different KDE themes from the configuration centre but only the ones with a dark background colour (e.g. air and oxygen) stays transparent. Verne, Beefy Miracle and Spherical Cow's themes all show a non-transparent silver panel.
I'm having some major problems downloading some packages in Synaptic. The packages concerned are all QGIS (Quantum GIS mapping software) but this issue could potentially apply to anything.
Problem 1:
When I downloaded and installed QGIS on my other PC it downloaded about 40 packages which makes sense.
Hi everyone,So the changelog for Libreoffice 3.6 said that it could finally use the oxygen-gtk theme to make it look "KDE-ish" and use gradiants for windows and stuffs. But on my installation, it does not seem to use it. Or, well, only partially : it uses the right color scheme, but it does not use the oxygen-style windows, like Filezilla does, which is a GTK app too.
By "true transparency" I assume you are using something like transset-df rather than urxvt's own rgba settings, right?Pseudotransparency copies the wallpaper to the urxvt window background.Transset-df style transparency makes the entire urxvt window partially transparent - so this includes the text.Urxvt's own transparency makes only the window background transparent while keep
Hi!I've noticed quite an annoying thing with the compositing in crunchbang. I'm not sure exactly where the problem lies, but the shadows of a transparent window (like the terminal) kind of makes full transparency toward the edges.
I've noticed that if I switch on transparency on the toolbar:* Setting wallpaper with feh first and doing "exec fluxbox" in the end of ".xinitrc" causes whole toolbar to appear in opaque black (I have set it black in the style)* Vice-versa doingfluxbox &
fbpid=$!
~/.fehbg
wait $fbpidin ".xinitrc" enables transparency everywhere on panel (desktop number, clock
Hey, you can launch specific qt5 application with custom style with this call:./application -style fusionFusion is new style for Qt 5 applications. Qt 5 does NOT offer Oxygen style for KDE yet.
