[Q] Xperia Ion Firmware Downgrade Help ?

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hello there im a newbie, i have one question...Im using Xperia Ion LT28h Stock 6.1.E.3.7 ( Unlocked BL, Rooted ) As im thinking to get back to rom 6.1.E.2.68, because latest rom from sony (.E.3.7 ) is totally sux, battery draining too fast... So now im still on .E.3.7, ive made soo many customization and i want to keep it after downgrading my firmware...Is it possible? So how am i gonna do it ?? Just download the stock rom .E.2.68 ?? Am i gonna loose all the customization that ive made on .E.3.7 ?? Let say i already make backup through CWM recovery, after i flashed .E.2.68, then rest (HowTos)

Hi everybody, i post here working and small ftf file with latest Android 4.0.4 for Sony Ericsson XPERIA Mini Pro.

I know, that there are other roms with these version firmware here, but this is O2 CZ customization and it is without any bloatware app, which cannot be removed without root. I used it for some time and it is very fast. You doesnt need unlocked bootloader to install it.

I installed CM9 on my Xperia Neo V using the instructions on the wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Sony_Ericsson_Xperia_Neo:_Full_Update_Guide. Now I'd like to go back to standard firmware in order to use HDMI out and other features.

I made a backup with CWM. Can I simply restore it with CWM? Will that restore the original kernel as well?

I have sony xperia s , rooted , unlocked bootloader cm9 , i want back the original firmware from sony ( in my opinoin) i want to relock the boot loader and i want to now what are DRM codes and what i can loose in my phone , and does flashing the original sony firmware through flashtool from this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1723610 , keeps my DRM keys ?

Hello everybody, I'm new here :) And I got newbie question. I want to root and install Custom ROM'S to my device(I know how to that), I'll make my stock ROM 4.1.2 backup(in CWM). I was searching, and found, that I can un-root my device(get back warranty), but every tutorials says, that I will need download stock rom from Sammobile, but there arent firmware from my region.

So here's the deal modders and forum members....

Tried a couple of custom kernels to get my Sola rooted but every kernel had some or the other issue..

So here's what I did to keep the root and to solve the issues...

1) Fastbooted with custom kernel to get rooted 2) Flashed with stock firmware. Tft file (only ticked kernel nothing else) so that's the stock kernel of my firmware.

Lets say I live in the Philippines, and I want to flash the latest firmware for my phone BUT IT IS a RUSSIAN firmware. Is it OK and safe for me? Is my SIM Card gonna be affected? Or are there any other risks and downsides?

Another fast question, when the time comes that I will flash RUSSIAN FIRMWARE, is it gonna boot on Russian language by default? Can I change it?
