Hey guys this is probably a simple question but I can't figure it out. I have an old iTunes acct and want to dump it but I want to transfer all my movies, music and vids first. Now I transfer some videos just fine but some won't transfer, and my movies won't transfer at all? So what do I got to do?:confused:

I just purchased my N7 2 days ago, transferred some music yesterday, went to find some CD's that were not already on my computer. I ripped them into windows media player, tried to transfer them to N7, it appeared that they transferred, spent like an hour doing this only to find that they did not transfer. The first batch transferred fine, the second ones did not.
I recently purchased an iRiver P7 media player which I am using with Rhythmbox under Ubuntu 9.04. The transfer speed when uploading files to the player is phenomenally slow - the first 50 or so MB reported virtually instantly then the speed immediately drops to about 12-15KB/sec yes KB/sec so a 3-400MB video file takes hours to transfer to the player.
I am a movie lover and like to download movies from iTunes store. So far I own about 200 iTunes movies on my computer. Recently I plan to buy a HTC One X but I am worrying that I can't transfer my iTunes movies to HTC to play back after I bought it. That's really frustrated you know. Pictures and movies play fine on phone, but since my corporate IT encrypted the SD card, USB transferred media is not readable on PC. Any suggestions how to transfer decrypted via USB? The only painful workaround I see so far is emailing each item to myself from the Gallery app. Thanks!
I'm using ubuntu 12.04 and I have a first generation iphone,16Gb. The iphone is jailbroken.
Under 10.04, I was able to transfer music onto the phone. I used banshee.
Under 12.04, ubuntu can see the iphone and it's file system. But can't transfer music.
If I just plug the iphone in, rhythymbox can't see the iphone.

Can anyone recommend an easily usable media transfer application? That is, I want to copy audio files from my CDs, compress them if possible, perhaps organize & store them on disk, and transfer the ones I want to listen to to a media player. (Currently a Zen Vision:M).
