Well, I stock rooted yesterday, and all went well, except for my sd card.
I did the "wipe" stock rooted and removed my sd card before doing so, so that I would lose the items on the sd card. But a couple folders are missing/hiding or I can't see them.
I'm missing the Camerazoom folder that had all my images in it, as well as all the music that I've had on my sd card.
I booted into recovery, did a factory reset/wipe, i did it 3 times, and also wiped the cache partition 3 times and I formatted my sd card in my computer 3 times. And then I put the sim and sd card back in the phone and booted up, set my settings for my phone but never turned on data and never set up a google account yet.
So why..in the world..
Is the only way to wipe the sd card is to use CWM? Is there any other way? Also, will this have any negative effects to the device? Does the system require specific folders to work/run?
I need some help.
My SD card is maxed full and I need to wipe my phone back to day one.
I was wanting to know, if it is safe to do a factory wipe to basically nothing on it.
I need to completely format my SD card and restore to stock.
Any help from anyone out there would be greatly apprectiated.

I have installed/uninstalled/flashed/reflashed lots of roms/apps... and it has come to a point where I already know the type of apps that I normally use.. i found out that there are some folders that stays in my SD card even if I uninstalled apps..
So my question is, i have done a CWM back-up long before I did all those stuff (above)..
Please help me format my internal SD card.
I`m using Htc one x. The problem i`m having is Music app is not creating folders by artist/albums. Before this handset i was using htc sensation xe i copied all songs to my sd card and it automatically creates folders by albums and artists on my sd card. Anyone have idea how to do like this on htc one x.?
So back on my Evo 4G whenever I wanted to flash a new rom, I would load it on my SD card. Then boot into custom recovery and wipe cache/Dalvik... Then would wipe ALL data/factory reset. Then I would install my new rom off of my SD card.
With my S3, I cannot access anything on my SD via CWM recovery.
Hi all. I have done a search for this but nothing came up. Right now I have it set where all my photos coming from the camera go to my SD card. I have tons of photos as well as downloaded photos and I want to organize them into folders. In my gallery I have separate folders but I can't move any other image folder to my SD card, such as downloaded images, only camera images. Anyway to fix this?
