[Q] Where to buy razr m developer edition?

http://forum.xda-developers.com – is motorolas site the only place one can buy razr m developer edition? i´m located in sweden and it´s seems not possible to buy it anywhere else, and it´s not possible to buy from europe on motorolas site, i will visit nyc for one week but i doubt if it will be possible for me to have enough time to buy razr through the internet (HowTos)

Following last month’s release of the DROID RAZR M Developer Edition, those anxious to be able to do the same type of customization with the RAZR HD are in luck. The DROID RAZR HD Developer Edition is now available from Motorola via their website. Be warned though: The second you purchase this bad boy, your warranty is void. Basically, there is no warranty.

On the heels of releasing the DROID RAZR M Developer Edition and the DROID RAZR HD Developer Edition, those anxious to be able to do the same type of customization with the Atrix HD are in luck. The Atrix HD Developer Edition from Motorola is now showing up on their website, but in information registration form only. There are no specifics as far as pricing or availability.

Hi all, I'm going to buy a droid razr hd. I have to pay full price to keep my unlimited data plan, so I was wondering, should I buy the the developer edition. I have a samsung galaxy 3 (unlocked and rooted) now but I find the reception is really bad, since I live in the country.

Motorola has kept its promise and officially made the Droid RAZR M Developer Edition available to buy online.

Apologies for my ignorance ...but would like to a know something basic about Unlock feature & then also needed to ask a specific question:

SIM / Network Unlock for Razr M ( Use in Non-US )

Basic Doubts:

1) Developer Edition Razr M : If I buy this Developer Edition from US , can I use only in US only (or is it specifically Verizon) or can I use it any other country as well.

I tried to use Motofail2go to root my Verizon Razr M, and only later discovered that in order to root a Razr M, it has to be a developer edition to root. This seems to be the case no matter what. Am I wrong?

If only that was made clear within every page that discusses how to root a Razr M.

Ok.... Two questions about the new Razr M just announced:

1) Do you have to get the developer edition to use rooting, advanced features, etc.? Or will there be an XDA way? 2) Does VZW usually ship phones that are pre-ordered the day they are announced, or beforehand?

So my Dev edition RAZR m is still "in process". When I purchased, the Motorola site said shipping the week of 9/13. Come and gone.... called today and the rep had no information on the actual ship date. I'm bummed.

Anyone receive the Dev edition?

Maybe if we complain enough they'll throw in a docking station ;)

Has anyone had any luck installing Nitro's Eclipse rom on their dev edition Razr M? I'm using TWRP and installed it, but I keep getting stuck in boot animation. Thanks!
