Appreciate the forums and have read a TON of them over the weekend. Long story, short.
1. Rooted my Captivate successfully via Odin and a XDA tutorial (a kk4 stock kernel tar and a I-897 Design Gears tar file (worked great!) Backed up via Titanium.
2.Then tried to flash a new rom.

The micro usb port on my phone has gotten loose over the last few days, and so T-mo is sending me out a replacement phone. I would like to completely backup my phone (ideally to my dropbox folder) so I can easily restore all of my apps and settings on the new vibrant when it comes. I already have Astro, and have backed up my apps to my SD card.
Since my phone got upgraded to ZVD by LG (with some Verizon add-ons like the power-on sound which is cool :)) and I wanted my data back from GSE, I went into CWM and did an advanced restore from the backup I did prior to returning the phone and it restored all my data, apps, wallpaper, etc back to how they were.
My contract is up with Verizon and im going to T-Mobile. I was wondering if my backed apps will restore on a phone from a different carrier or is it tied to my device only.

I used the toolkit to backup apps before unlocking the bootloader, so after unlocking the bootload I tried to restore the apps and it did not work.
At least none of my app were on the phone.
So I just downloaded everything again.
The question is I am at 3.6gb used which seems excessive for the amount of apps I am running.
In comparison on my other phone is at 473mb(running GB) and has more app
I was running LK8 stock rooted and performed the LL4 update via Kies. I had originally tried to do it OTA and in the process wiped the phone to get rid of the modified status only to be put in queue for the OTA. Before formatting the phone I had performed a titanium app and data backup as well as a Nandroid backup.
This leads me to the question.
I want to wipe /sdcard and then to restore apps and data. So what I'll do:
1. Titanium Backup for all apps and data.
2. Wipe /sdcard.

Question about backup and restore.
I am having a problem with the charger port on my EVO. It is rooted and running AlterROM Redux v1.0.2. I have a second EVO that my wife used, she upgraded to a Gallaxy S3. If I root her phone can I just use ROM Manager to backup my phone and then restore it to her phone?

Having a few problems when i restore app data after a ROM flash with Titanium. I've searched around, but can't find anything that works for me :(
Basically, i'm trying to flash PACMan v21 to my GS2, from rooted (dorimanx kernel) stock 4.2.1 touchwiz rom.
