[Q] Upgrading to new OTA update with rooted phone and TWRP

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hello everyone. I'm somewhat of a noob still and I would appreciate any help you could give me. I'm trying to install the new OTA update that came out today but I'm having issues. I have a rooted One S with TWRP recovery, and everytime I try to install the OTA update it brings me to the TWRP recovery screen. I'm pretty sure this is because I don't have stock recovery. I've even tried "unrooting" with Voodoo Over the Air root, but it keeps bringing me to the TWRP recovery screen. I rooted my phone with the All-In-One root kit, and I really don't want to lose everything on my d (HowTos)

Hey guy's, so I've been trying to install update 2.13.651.1 on my phone but every time I get multiple errors and it fails. EZ-Recovery problem with TWRP 38 weeks 6 days ago

I am rooted, and unlocked, but when I use EZ-Recovery to flash the TWRP recovery image, it only stays until the phone is rebooted. Is this how it is supposed to work?

Basically if I open EZ-Recovery and flash TWRP then reboot to recovery its fine. After I reboot FROM TWRP back into Android, the recovery is back to stock.

need some help please. just did something pretty dumb in a moment of not thinking. i went into rom manager and flashed cwm recovery (I'm using Hairy Bean 1.51 with TWRP) over the damn TWRP recovery, then did a system backup through rom manager.

I was advised that i needed to update my recovery to twrp from cwm recovery to avoid an issue i got while flashing roms (the contents of my sd card would get pushed down into a subfolder of a newly created set of folders) however when i wiped my phone, as i always used to do with CWM twrp seems to have wiped a lot more, its wiped the existing rom, and all the files on my card, so i cant install a

Problem with recovery 8 weeks 3 days ago

This weird problem started when I was trying to install PureX Audio Mod. I have stock .434 rooted and locked bootloader. I have installed the CWM for locked bootloaders and it was working flwalessly. I also disabled flashing stock recovery on reboot and was working with the device.

Hey guys i have a huge problem. I have a Rogers HTC One X that is rooted. I installed cm10 and I didn't like it so I booted into twrp recovery and wiped EVERYTHING, I wasn't thinking. so there is no ROM on the phone. I have the stock ROM but I couldn't get it onto the phone because twrp wouldn't let me mount my SD. Whenever I looked through my files on TWRP after that, there was nothing on my SD.

Hello guys.. This is my first post and i am kinda new to rooting..

I did some research and rooted my nexus 4 using the NRT 1.6.3 I didn't install CWM or TWRP (Kept the flash CWM option unchecked under the ROOT button)

So basically I just have the Root access for the phone.

I had been rooted, with TWRP recovery, and CM7, and Gapps.

Wanted to go back to stock. Brought up Kindle fire utility, downloaded stock update, transferred to fire via usb, used TWRP to flash stock update.

Vola, back to stock kindle fire. Re-rooted with Kindle fire utility, and then my mistake, I flashed the CM7 Gapps into stock kindle.

Got stuck on "touch me android screen".
