Hi everyone,
i tried to root my phone :( and i am having some major issues.
i followed the instructions to a T im using Odin307 with Root66_VZW_stock Rom to root my phone. on the screen halfway through the process the progress bar stops about half way and i get the following error. i have tried several troubleshooting methods.
ODIN ISSUES: In desperate need of HELP.
I have a Verizon Galaxy Note 2(sch-i605). I found the right root files for my phone and flashed a custom ROM onto it using Odin. Now i want to flash a STOCK ROM back onto my phone but Odin won't recognize any of the files.
Hi all,
I'm new to android. I did root my note 2 using the instruction by dr.ketan. I used method#1, flashing with changelu's cwm6-root-note2.tar, everything was successful. However, I can not boot into cwm recovery. I tried press and hold vol up+home+power when the text samsung galaxy note ii appeared let go the power, but nothing happen. My device would reboot again.
The guide on XMD has me confused. All I (ever) want is to run root-only apps off of Google Play. No custom ROMs, or anything like that.
So here's where I am currently, I have completed step 4:
""1. Start ODIN
2. Put phone into download mode
3.
There was a time I was good at this. All I can do now is just trip my flash counter or brick my devices.
Download the file.
Unzip
Set the device in download mode (yes, my drivers work)
Run odin
Point the PDA to the tar file.
Flash. The thing reboots, odin says pass!
Try to boot into recovery and only get the stock recovery.
I have done this several times now. And same thing.
Ok, sup everybody ive been at this for over 7 hrs straight and cant get any headway.
After all the problems i had with my Wifi using ics (arco) i decided to downgrade to stock rom but with the new baseband hoping to solve the prblm.
I went to root the note, but when i did some "wipe" give a error and i restar the phone, but not start Android, when i try instal some rom with Odin i receive this error

So today my phone was working fine. I pull it out of my pocket and the screen is black. Tried to turn it off and back on with the power button but that did nothing. I pulled the battery out and put it back in and then it went to the first screen that says "Samsung Galaxy S3" and permanently froze there. I did root it a few months ago and never had a problem with it.
