Hello
I have a Sony Xperia S LT26i
I used this manual to root my Sony:
Copy the CyanogenMod 9.1 package and the GApps package into your phones internal SD card.
Extract fastboot-win32.zip into the C:\ drive (root directory) of your computer.
Copy recovery-nozomi.img into the same folder where fastboot.exe has been extracted.
Open the CyanogenMod 9.1 ZIP file and extract the boot.img file
So I just rooted my phone today and went to install CyanogenMod 10 on it using the Rom manager. I went through all the steps to install it, backed up my previous one and cleared the dalvik cache and clicked ok. It went through what seemed like the right process but for the past two hours it is still on the CyanogenMod screen with the name and a swirling blue thing.
Ok, so I've had an SII for over a year now and I've kept it on stock android. Today I decided to root. I got that far and then decided to install cyanogenmod(10.1 or 10). Well I installed 10.1 and I'm stuck on a boot loop.
Can anyone please help. What do I do? This is my daily phone and I can't have it like this. I've tried googling but they all give different advice.
Hi
I have a ASUS TF300T and have installed the TWRP bootloader as recommended by another site.
I have tried Cyanogenmod 9, Cyanogenmod 10 and Cyanogenmod 10.1 nightly and none of them will boot. The device gets stuck at the ASUS logo screen and I get no further.
Obviously I have cleared cache etc (I'm familiar with the basics of installing a different ROM).
Can anyone advise me what to do?
Phone boot looping.
I did a factory reset on my Rise and now its boot looping. The only thing i did to it was delete/freeze a few stock things 1.5 months ago. I forgot to restore them before the factory restore. For example i froze VM setup i believe and a couple other things.
Appreciated any help I can get here.
I'm attempting to flash my first custom ROM by following the instructions here (http://drippler.com/updates/share/ho...ne-x).I've got to point 5 and instead of copying the zip file and boot.img to my phone I stupidly went and carried out the 'fastboot flash boot boot.img' command first.
hello there
i have changed my rom and now i want to go back to my stock. i tried to use pc companion to restore the phone but when i did i got a message saying that i don't have the official rom (or something like that) and that i can not restore my phone to original. so i tryed to change my rom to the stock manually. but i dont know what .ftf file should i use.
I am running Cyannogenmod 10.1 Nightly 3-5-2013 (the latest nightly paired with the experimental M release) I have SuperSU... doubt that would make any difference.
I was messing around with my phone and decided to try out the toolbox app that everyone just loves... I used it to change my font, it tells me to reboot my phone....
Cyanogenmod 10.1
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts.
