I had Trinity installed on my Mint 12 system and, about 3 weeks ago, (somehow) completely borked it. Upon reinstallation, the Trinity servers were down. As of Friday 1/20/11, I am pleased to report that the Trinity servers are back up.
If you’re familiar with rooting and custom ROM’s, then I’m sure you’ve had your fair share of trying to find the right kernel to flash that coincides best with your phone and current ROM. Keep in mind that the best kernel is always up for grabs and I feel is just too subjective to definitively determine who makes the best kernel.
With the exception of some minor tweakable changes, Trinity desktop is closer to KDE 3.5 than MATE is to Gnome 2.32.
Trinity, a computer desktop environment for Unix-like operating systems with a primary goal of retaining the overall KDE 3.5 computing style, is now at version Trinity Desktop Environment 3.5.13.1.
Trinity Desktop Environment 3.5.13.1 brings a lot of updates and new features and it even includes a Trinity rebranding.
Hey fellow gnex community! I recently left stock rom due to freezes and random reboots. I've tried out various rom and kernel combinations this week such as xylon/AK, Purity/AK, AOKP/franco/lean, CM10.1/trinity/franco, Rasbean/trinity, PA/lean/franco/trinity/AK and Xenon.
The problem is they all freeze and reboot constantly after 2 minutes of use.
If you didn't know Trinity is a fork of KDE 3.x and i want it on to Ubuntu 12.04 I try adding the PPAs and doing sudo apt-get install kubuntu-default-settings-trinity kubuntu-desktop-trinity but than i get a error that is

Hi,
I'm currently on Codename Android 3.8 ROM with the android 4.2 Camera and keyboard mods and have been searching for the best Kernel for battery life. I've tried many different Kernels - Franco, Faux, Air Kernel, Lean and Trinity and I have noticed that anything that is overclocking the GPU, even to just 384 from 307, turns my phone into a molten hot, battery eating machine.
Here is what i did.
Latest CWM recovery v5.8.4.7
after flashing CM9, i wipe cache partition & Dalvik Cache
then i flash "TGST-CM9-ICS_ALPHA19.zip" - the Trinity kernel
when my phone reboot i discover the IMEI is gone.
Any suggestion?
Hey all. I've been using Trinity's kernel until yesterday when I flashed Motley's kernel. However the Trinity splash screen still shows at boot. How do I delete this one?
