Cable 37 weeks 3 days ago I'd like to buy a new and extra cable (not the charger) to connect my device to my computer and charge it then as well.
Apparently this kind of cable, micro data usb, seems to be universal. Is it really so as I don't want to damage it if I buy a generic cable.
Any help me would be great :)
Hello everyone!
My laptop has 2 USB 3.0 slots. When using a USB 2.0 cable on a USB 3.0 device it works great except I obviously don't get the speed of the USB 3.0 cable. As a matter of fact, when using the USB 3.0 cable, the device (an external 500Gb sata hdd) is not recognized at all.
After perusing the forums for a couple of weeks now, I have not been able to find any info about USB 3.0.

Hi, I am having a slight problem and am at a loss.
First of all, my phone is stock. I bought my OTG cable a few months ago and it worked just fine. I was using it to play games with my PS3 remote. However, with less time on my hands, I put the games aside and with it, I was no longer using my OTG cable.
Internet via Wifi disconnects when I connet ethernet cable to connect a ethernet device?Wifi is configured for DHCP and connected with internet - works okay.

I have wireless keyboard Logitech cordless desktop EX110. Mouse sometimes stops working (sometimes after a few hours working and sometimes after 10 minutes working). I get it back to life by unplugging it from the computer case and then plug it.
Is there a way to do it via console? Maybe by restarting the usb port.
This is the lsusb listing.
I was using a VGA cable on my desktop with Ubuntu 10.04. I switched the VGA cable for a DVI cable since the ATI card has sockets for both. Ever since then, the GUI will not display. I can get into the shell (text only) but I can not get a graphical display.
