I just wanted to know if there is any way to test custom ROMs in the Windows Phone emulator.
I am a newbie and wanted to test them before flashing it to my Lumia 900.:confused:
Microsoft has released an SDK for Windows Phone 7.8 – aka the last ever update for Windows Phone 7 handsets, which have been orphaned by the company’s platform shift to Windows Phone 8 (built on a different kernel).
I've develop a test application in Xamarin Studio (Android with C#) and wanted to test it on my phone.
The application worked just fine in the Device emulator (Same OS version) but when I install / open it on my phone, it just says "TestApplication stopped working" I know from the online search that thousands of issues could cause this error message but my questions is :
Hello everyone I wanted to know if its possible to use Roms on other device for example using a htc x custom Rom on a htc one v phone is that possible or does that some how ruin your phone. If anybody has tried that is the results!
As the title says.. Would that be possible? Because there isnt much roms made for the duos and those roms for SGY looks really good but i dont want to brick my phone.. So i just wanted to.confirm just to be safe..I dont mind if i cant use dual sims.. I only use one anyway. :)
I am trying to execute de system.img for the Nexus 4 that you can download from the developers google webpage with the Android Emulator. To do this, I have created an ADV with target 4.3, and I have executed the next command in my Ubuntu:
emulator -avd Nexus4 -system/Image_android/system.img
But the emulator doesn't start the system, it is always in a black screen.
