I'm new to Tasker and I have been tampering for half a day trying to get this to work on my JellyBean phone:

...but like he mentions it plays both the tune I set and the standard ringtone at the same time.
It seems that the task AudioSettings>RingerVolume does not work on JellyBean?
Can you guys help me solve this?
Hey there :)
I've downloaded some of the profiles for tasker on this page:

How can I use them in tasker ?
I'm following the XDA $30 Tmobile guide (same as the one on here) to program tasker for automating airplane mode when connected to WIFI but am running into some problem with Tasker. From what I can tell, my N4 goes into airplane mode (airplane icon on upper right screen shows up) when I'm connected to WIFI.
I just installed Tasker, and am trying to set up my first profile - turning Wifi on when I get home / turning it off when I leave the house.
I have read "Location Without Tears", and am following the instructions at Turn On WiFi at Home - Tasker Wiki to set up this profile.
The problem is, I can't get the first context to work, specifically the "Get Fix".
New to Tasker and I've been playing around with it today. Seems pretty cool so far but a long way to go. Most of the simple things I could program quickly are already being done by Smart Actions.
Anyway, phone is a Motorola RAZR HD MAXX running Jelly Bean 4.1.1 which I updated to a couple days back before installing Tasker.
Hi! My name is Gianluca and I'm from Italy. I didn't see any Tasker thread in droid razr section so I tought it would be a cool idea to start one.
I want to share with you my tasker configuration. My main focus is on battery life and gps tracking.
I've got a problem on my galaxy note 2 - no matter what I do the screen timeout keeps changing back to 10 minutes.
Before I do a factory reset, is there any way of setting a tasker profile for display timeout that will override the phones settings? Off set one up but it's having no effect so far. Maybe change priority etc may do it?
I'm running JellyTime on my Inspire and really loving it. Google Now is pretty cool, but the wifi thing is bugging me. I understand why GN wants wifi on all the time, but the Inspire doesn't have the best battery and I don't want to leave wifi on.
I'm thinking of using Tasker to turn wifi on for 5 or 10 minutes every hour, so GN can triangulate but not kill my battery.
