I became frustrated with the latest Swype Beta and tried downgrading to one of the 3.26.92.xxxx versions of swype. I downloaded 3 different apk's from around the web.
When using the HUD I think it would be very useful if it displayed the keyboard shortcut for a menu item (if it has one). For example New Tab in Firefox has the shortcut Ctrl+T
Can the HUD be configured to show whether a menu item has a keyboard shortcut, something like the mock-up below:
I've set the keyboard shortcut super+L to lock my screen. Several times I've tried to lock the screen and it just pulls up the super menu. When I go back and check the keyboard shortcut it is still set and listed as super+L. Resetting the shortcut to super+L restores functionality for a time. I can't tell what's triggering the failure. Any input would be appreciated!
I was prompted to update swype this morning. I did so, and now everytime I select swype it closes automatically and I get the android keyboard. Anyone else having this issue?
- Swype Beta is checked in Language & Input (android keyboard is selected and grey in this screen)
- Choose Input Method screen. I select "Swype Beta". It flashes to Swype.

I've searched everywhere and wasn't able to find where is keyboard shortcut for Computer main-menu defined. The Super or Mod4 key (key with Windoes logo on it) is defined to open this menu and I would like to disable this, but cannot find where from. Tx in advance.
If I set a shortcut to 'toggle fullscreen mode' in settings->keyboard->shortcuts->windows->toggle fullscreen mode, the shortcut works in unity 2D, but not unity 3D. The same shortcut can be modified with compiz extras, and the result is the same.
Why is this, is it normal, and how to go to fullscreen mode in unity 3D ?

I bought myself the K400 keyboard (for use in lectures), and it works great via OTG on the S3.
My question is, as I'm in the UK, and got the UK keyboard layout K400, I was wondering if there is a setting I'm missing, in relation to having the £ keys on SWYPE Beta.
