[Q] Screen Not Working - Need Help returning to Stock

http://forum.xda-developers.com – I need to return to stock in order to return my phone. Two problems: 1) I have the yellow triangle 2) My display is not working Is there a program I can use to view/control my Epic 4g touch from my computer in order to use Mobile Odin to possible return to stock and get rid of triangle? Currently running Re-Caulked Version 0.2.0 or maybe even 1.9.1? Right around there.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bad Sector (HowTos)

Hi,

I guess I'm gonna have to return to stock state in order to send the phone for warranty (dead pixel line all along the screen)

I plan to flash a stock ROM with PC or Mobile Odin.

My questions are : Will it be enough ? Will it reset the counter and install the stock recovery ? Shall I have to use triangle away before ?

Got the yellow triangle with " unauthorized software found on your device. Return to authorized Verizon dealer." I was trying to return this to stock and the directions on Odin said the bootloader had to be locked. I took the EZunlock and locked it back then all hell broke loose. Any ideas?

Return to stock without Odin 1 year 3 weeks ago

My phone is refusing to be recognized by my computer (I get the "USB devise malfunctioned" notice), which, of course, makes it impossible to use Odin. I need to return my phone to stock in order to sell it. I tried flashing the "FA19.zip" file in CWM, but got a MD5 mismatch error. Any ideas???

Hey guys, I know there are a few stock images floating around that can bring you back to stock, but I wanted to put down the steps I used to get back to stock with 0 flash counter.

Just in case you need to return it for warranty work and you've flashed or rooted.

I need to return my phone and ive used the guide to reset my flash counter with triangle away (which was never tripped, just did it for piece of mind), then i used odin and used the stock kernel and stock image to reinstall back to stock. Everything passed but when i boot my phone up right under the samsung logo it still says custom with the unlock logo.

It's not like I want to return to stock, but my days with this phone are coming to a close and my mother will be getting this phone for the remainder of the contract (about 9 ½ months) and I'll be transferring to the Galaxy Nexus.

Also, another question, should I decide to return this phone to its stock boot loader, will it be able to still receive OTA updates despite it being S-Off?

Good morning. Yesterday, I tried to update my Sony Ericsson Xperia U, from version 2.3.7 to version 4.0.4 with the official software of sony. After upgrading, I noticed that the performance was very bad, and wanted to go back to version 2.3.7 again. I searched this forum, and I did with the Flashtool and st25i Iberia stock 2.3.7 rom.

Looking for a little help please.

Trying to return to stock and I have flashed 2 different stock roms from samfirmware, nd each time when booted it tells me messenger has stopped working.

If I open the app it force closes.

Any idea what might be causing this? I need it back to stock ASAP as I am selling the phone.
