I recently installed JellyBean (CM10) on my Motorola Defy+. According to me, the new Android keyboard is excellent at guessing words but it makes typing really hard on a 3.7-4" screen.
Is there any way you can keep the original JB keyboard modifying the skin only? (or else is there any keyboard with the same A.I. and quick response of the JB one but a different skin?)
I searched the Internet for a way to add words into the dictionary. But all I found was advice to switch to another keyboard. I already have swift key but I don't want to part with the handwriting feature on the stock keyboard. So if anyone has a mod of the Samsung keyboard that has Auto correct and the ability to add words to the dictionary, please link it here.
So a few months ago I uninstalled Samsung Keyboard because I wasn't using it and then recently I decided to encrypt my phone just for the heck of it (I'm a security nerd) and because I didn't really care about the risk of losing data. What happened was the encryption was successful, but when a screen appeared asking for me to type in my encryption key, no keyboard popped up.

I have a Samsung galaxy three tablet with a targus external Bluetooth keyboard. The problem I have is that as I'm typing the keyboard for some reason a pop-up window will show up anywhere from 1 to 7 and make me choose a symbol to insert. I have English only, check Samsung's settings all seem correct.
