Samsung’s S Voice feature received an upgrade for the Galaxy S 4 and thanks to a special someone, the new S Voice APK is now available for Android users to download. According to SamMobile, the APK works perfectly on devices running Samsung firmware as one would expect. However, if you’re running an AOSP-based ROM, you may run into some issues.
I see these Voice Command posts don't get much response. It's kind of a hit or miss with these apps. I have a Samsung Galaxy S 2 Epic 4g Touch, Samsung Bluetooth Headset HM1700.
So far I have tried:
Samsung Voice Talk (Powered by Vlingo) - Preinstalled
This is the best I have found so far.
I hate to make a phone call with an android. I need to press 4 or 5 symbols on the screen before the phone finally calls my friend.
There must be an easy way to call people, for example when driving? Voice control is not an alternative (too hard to get the device to understand...).
I have a Galaxy S3 on Verizon. Google Voice is active and working. I'm not sure if this occurs with every call to my Google Voice number, but I have noticed that an audible voice ("press 1 to accept call ...") comes through even though I have the phone muted and Driving Mode is off. Is this a bug or is there something I'm missing to make the phone totally silent?
Hi all,
The android skype client crashes frequently on my phone.
I found a few alternatives that where compatible, but are not any more, I found apps that connect with skype but not for free, and I found imo, that can only work for chat.
Are there any free alternative android apps that are compatible with skype voice?
Any help would be very appriciated...
XDA member bongostl has posted a step-by-step guide for modifying your Nexus 7, or any tablet for that matter, to enable outgoing and incoming calls through Google Voice. This requires the editing of system files, so your tablet needs to be rooted.
For example, I use Talkatone or Sipdroid for my phone calls so I don't want these apps to get briefly disconnected when i connect to a wifi network because i may miss an incoming call. Plus, since voice calls use such little data and I'm almost always have strong 4g signal, it seems like it would make sense to just keep calls on 4g all the time.
I'm having skype voice input issue. I had win7 for about half a year on this laptop and it is working flawless. Now I've installed Ubuntu (latest stable version), and than skype via software center. My cam is recognized, but voice isn't. When i go to skype settings it shows me that both of my speakers and mic and controlled by some PulseAudio stuff. On test call I can't hear my voice back.
Hello.
I am just wondering if there's an app that makes your voice to change during a call like hiding your real voice and use robot's voice instead of your original voice if anyone knows any kind of app let me know
thanks and have a nice day!
