http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hi, I'd like to preface this post by saying that I apologize because I realize there are many many threads on xda as well as numerous resources around the internet on how to root this device. That given, let's move forward since I am still having issues I can't figure out how to fix. I recently purchased a US Cellular SCH-i905 WiFi 4G LTE SGT Tab 2 10.1. I have no intention of using the 4G LTE capabilities of this device as I have a SGT Note 2 device as well. I have attempted to root the device in order to get the required access to remove the "no SIM card found" error messag (HowTos)

Hi, I am Noobie & I'm currently using a Samsung Galaxy note, GT-N7000, on gingergbread 2.36, using the ..XXLB1 kernal, I bought the device in spain with a CSC- OXXLB1. * Whilst I absolutely love this device and would like to keep the ROM, I am really tired of un-wanted apps seemingly doing what THEY want, some of these apps appear hazardous to security.

HI i have been having some issues for the past few days and im getting closer to rooting dont quite know why it isnt working tho. I have an LG viper with ics 4.0.4. i have the program to root aswell as the device driver from LG. I have tried it on a couple diff computers thinking it was the usb port. I just checked my device manager on my pc and it shows the phone.

US Cellular has announced availability for the Samsung Galaxy Note II, alerting customers that the device would make its debut this Friday, October 26th. Customers can continue to pre-order through Thursday, and orders will begin shipping as early as tomorrow. This lines up nicely with Sprint’s launch which kicks off in just a few short hours.

I installed the ExynosAbuse apk by chainfire with intention to root the device, however, once installed, when go through the list of options, since the patch option come first, then followed by root, so I thought - I know I dumb on this - they are compliment to each other, or in other words, I can do both and the order presented is the desirable order, so clicked "patch".

I have a Verizion I905 running 4.0.4 that I want to upgrade to 4.1.1 I know Verizon doesn't have a ROM that was released so I need to go to something like cyanogenmod.

I saw their guide at http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/wiki/Sam...l_Update_Guide but Heimdall Suite 1.3.2: won't see my device.

Any help/insight would be appreciated.

Why won't my phone root? 7 weeks 2 days ago

I have tried several times with several different methods to root my Fascinate, and every time it fails. It either doesn't take, stalls, or the rooting program says it "can't find the device." The same thing is going on with my wife's Droid 4. I'm wondering in VZ is doing something to block root?

Is there any way for me to use my US Cellular GS3 with my ATT sim card? I did not realize I needed to buy an ATT phone when I purchased this one tonight, If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it..

Just to clarify, I have a US CELLULAR Galaxy s3 and I use ATT and have an ATT sim card. It is showing up as no sim card according to the phone. I just rooted it.

Hello everyone, i want to root my Galaxy Note 2 and i don't want to change my current (default) android firmware (4.1.1 i believe), is it possible to root the device without installing the new firmware.
