[Q] Rooting on JB Stock is it possible?

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hello! I bought a Transformer Tf700 the other day and stupid as I was ( It seems ) updated it to JB before unlocking the bootloader and rooting the device. So I have been searching around the forums, but it seems that there is no way to actually Root a JB device that did not unlock the bootloader in beforehand. So my question is can I root&unlock the device? The guides I have read only tells me that I can only root & unlock from ICS and to Downgrade to ICS ( from my understanding ) I need to have the bootloader unlocked... Witch makes this a vicious circle, so from what I hav (HowTos)

So I accepted the OTA a few days ago because I wasn't really considering rooting and unlocking my phone. I decided to try and root for the first time on my old GS2 and I was successful. So now that I did that I want to do it for my Note 2 but now I can't unlock the bootloader since I'm now at VRALL4. Is there a way to downgrade to VRALJB and unlock the bootloader from there? Thanks.

I'm going to buy the n4 and I would like to unlock the bootloader and root it. Since I won't flash a new rom at the beginning, I don't know if I should root it, just because of the warranty. Will it be void if I unlock the bootloader?

just got a replacement phone. And i want root back.

I already did the bootloader unlock crap. i have my token key. i unlocked bootlaoder via cmd.

I still have s-on though. which s-of program should i use?

is there no new root for the recently updated phone's?

I've tried regawmod, but it just took me to htcdev.

i Cant unlock the bootloader or root..no matter what i use it just tells me waiting for device..i tried every driver for i9250 that i could find...anyone know what is going on?

Would like to unlock my bootloader so I can run a couple roms I saw on xda developers including an updated rom by beans but they need to have the bootloader unblocked. The instrucions and video on xda seem too complicated. Is there a simpler way or should I wait for one to come?
