Why is it that when I upgraded to ZVB the roboto font chnged and is much uglier and bolder than before? How can I change it back to normal roboto font?
So I've been messing around with bar and dzen and I want to use the Roboto font with bar. I installed ttf-roboto from the AUR.I've tried giving the same X logical font description: "-*-roboto-medium-r-normal-*-14-*-*-*-*-*-*-1"Dzen looks nice:But bar is hideous.(ignore the colors, they're irrelevant)I'd prefer to use bar, so I can use the overline/underline features.
Hello. All my qt based apps renders Roboto font as bold variant instead regular regardless of qtconfig-qt4 settings. Is there anything I can do to force qt render this font as regular. Maybe add some font-config rule.I have installed infinality package
Since the Android 4.3 leak a few days ago, every nook and cranny of the software has been under some serious scrutiny for changes and improvements. One new, noticeable improvement in the latest version of Android is the font. It’s still Roboto, but it’s seen some very minor tweaks and subtle changes, as you can see in the picture above.
When I first saw the new Roboto font back when Ice Cream Sandwich was first announced I was pretty impressed. The font was polished and basically a breath of fresh air for Android. As time progressed and I played with it on my Galaxy Nexus I kept thinking to myself that it would be a nice font to have on my computer.
I saw a post earlier on G+ about the G2 and Roboto. Basically you can only use normal and bold; italic, bold italic, Roboto Light, Roboto Thin, and Roboto Condensed don't work. The weight also appears to be off.
I did some looking around and all the fonts are present on the system.
I want a nice thin font for a timer in my application. Roboto Thin looks nice, but I don't know how to select it/can't find it in the layout in ADT. The choices are bold, bold|normal and bold|italic. Isn't Roboto Thin (along with other styles) available on every Android 4.x device?
