Hi everyone! I've got a little problem...I'm on 4.2.2 stock ROM and Franco kernel, now I stupidly forgot to make a backup of the 4.2.2 stock kernel and I want to flash my N4 back to it.
How do I proceed?? I tried to find a flashable zip of the latest kernel but the only one I managed to find was the 4.2.1 one.
Thanks in advance!

Not my work!
Been sitting around waiting for a Franco Kernel for 4.2, but his app says there isn't one. Turns out the app was wrong.
I got Paranoid 3 as my internal rom, running franco kernel. However, gaming and file transfer with computer seem slow and laggy as a 2gigs movie took 15 mins to copy from pc to nexus 7, so I'd like to install stock rom and stock kernel as an alternative I can use when I want to transfer files.
I'm looking for just the stock kernel. I have a nandroid with stock everything but if the stock kernel is available I would rather just flash that so I don't have to mess around with titanium backup. I poked around the forum a little bit but couldn't find it. Thanks.
Hey fellow gnex community! I recently left stock rom due to freezes and random reboots. I've tried out various rom and kernel combinations this week such as xylon/AK, Purity/AK, AOKP/franco/lean, CM10.1/trinity/franco, Rasbean/trinity, PA/lean/franco/trinity/AK and Xenon.
The problem is they all freeze and reboot constantly after 2 minutes of use.
Okay so I just picked this phone up... totally reminding me why i dumped my last motorola.
anyways, i rooted it, sim unlocked it, unlocked the bootloader, flashed CWM and then flashed a 4.2.2 rom. wow, slow, buggy, lets go back to stock. loaded the 4.1.1 RSD file, edited the XML, then flashed... gets to flashing system then fails. WHY!? any ideas?
Does anyone have a link to the stock kernel? The only one I see is in the return back to stock for cwm. And I don't feel like flashing 5 other roms just to get the stock kernel and return from a backup...
Hi,
i have several kernel related questions.
The 9300 has 4.0.4 stock with an insecure kernel flashed.
I did that in order to use s3 tool kit. Now i wanna go back to
original stock samsung kernel.
Where do I get the right file to flash with Odin?
What is the biggest mistake i can do?
Will everything work like before or will I have to reinstall stuff?
thanks
Hi,
What must I do to backup my Kernel on a rooted Galaxy S2?
