[Q] Repartitioning Internal Memory on HTC Evo View

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Below is an anomaly regarding the memory on my HTV Evo View on Dexters JB Rom. When i go into Settings > Storage, the display on the side is divided into two vertical fields. The top one says "Internal Storage" > Total Space 7.88 GB, Available 7.47 GB (I guess this is where the app files reside) The bottom one again says "Internal Storage" > Total Space 19.80 GB, Available 18.89 GB. This is the area where i' am not allowed to do any kind of write operation and where as it shows as empty even when i explore with root explorer. I have tried accessing this with &qu (HowTos)

My PE was synchonizing some files from the internal memory /sdcard wirelessly to dropbox when suddently it run out of battery and it turned itself off.

When I turn it back on I received the messages: * Preparing /sdcard * /sdcard damaged

I've tried resetting the device but still same problem.

The PE settings display: * Data storage device => Internal Storage * Internal

I am using N7000 Galaxy note with 16GB internal storage and 2 GB device storage. I am on android version 4.1.2 and Build JZO54K.N7000DDLSC

I have searched a lot and tried a lot but have not been able to crack this issue.

All of a sudden, my USB storage has disappeared.

Ok I really can't figure this out and my theory is that the droid maxx has it backwards and uses "internal storage" to mean external storage and "move to phone" as internal storage. Can anyone please explain this to me?? I have ApptoSD and, as an example, one of my apps MUST be kept on internal storage.

Hi all

Slighly confused by the internal memory on the S2.

I thought it had around 16GB of internal memory but when I checked...setting/storage/ it shows internal memory as Total Space =1.97Gb Apps 238MB Available as 1.70GB

So this adds up to only around 3.9GB ????

Any ideas where the rest is.....

Hi, I have a weird problem with my S2 running samsung stock ICS 4.0.3. i have been using sgs2 for over a year now and whenever my free internal storage goes below 2.5GB i move the apps to SD card. But now No. of apps in SDcard has hit the Android limit so i simply delete the Apps. But off late that is not freeing up my internal memory.

Does the Optimus Slider have the same internal memory as the regular Optimus?

I currently have the optimus and the lack of internal memory is getting annoying. Does the Optimus slider have a better internal memory?

I have an Acer Iconia Tab A200. It supposed to have 8 GB of ROM and 1 GB of RAM. I bought it as a refurbished unit. I have just received it back from warranty repair for the second time. When I go into Settings, About tablet, Device Information, it reports 8 GB of ROM and 1 GB of RAM.
