Hi people,
I have an strange problem with my galaxy s2 GT I9100 phone with Resurrection Remix rom v3.1.2 on it.
Every morning when i wake up (my bedroom is cold) flickers the screen of my phone so fierce that i cannot use it.
When the phone is hot (living room temp.) the screen is good.
My wife was having problems with her S2 (running stock Gingerbread), so I upgraded it using Kies. The update failed during the download process, so I needed to run the recovery option, but the outcome was the phone was still upgraded to ICS. It's mostly fine, but the phone is now freezing once or twice a day, requiring a cold start to revive it.
I'm sure there have been many posts about cracked screens...
but my glass screen is NOT cracked. I was the grocery store and my phone fell on the floor. the floor there was very similar to the floors at Costco and the phone fell hard. the flip cover even popped out. My phone looks fine and had no scratches on the corners or anything.
Yeah, I bought a glass phone while working in construction without a case, what of it? :-[
I was wondering how hard it would be to pick out the shattered pieces of glass from the back, and replace it with a different material. . . I know the camera actually "looks through" the back glass, but that could be fixed with a simple cutout maybe? Throw me ideas.
I had a carabiner case, which was attached to my bag, so the phone was hanging off of my bag. I put my bag down in the car, and closed the door...on the phone. The phone has a nice, tiny crack at the top left of the screen, rendering the touchscreen portion from working. At the time of the incident, the screen was still working, but after 3 days, the screen started to "die off".
My wife dropped her phone and cracked the screen. I bought a new screen and attempted to fix it however ended up making it much worse. The phone powers on and the screen is back-lit but I get nothing on the screen. I decided to just buy her a new phone.
I would like to sell the old phone for parts but need to wipe the data first.
There is a thin line crack in the front glass of my nexus 4 right across the middle of the screen. The top half of the touchscreen works fine, but the bottom half no longer responds. Since my phone is locked with a code, there is no way I can unlock it, or do anything else for that matter. What are my options in terms of repair and the expected costs?
Hi, I dropped the phone (it fell from my pocket when I was sitting on the bench in the gym changing room) from circa 30 cm height:rolleyes: and looked at the phone and everything was ok - from such a small drop, no wonder.
But by the time I got home I saw a crack forming from the side of impact (the phone dropped "on its feet" - hitting the frame) which went all the way to the opposit
I am looking to buy a quality feature or dumb phone from AT&T. Something similar to the AT&T Motorola RAZR V3 for my parents. Basically a solid flip phone with a front screen for CID would be preferred. I am paying cold hard cash via paypal or dwolla.
