Today i saw Bin4ry's root method for ICS and JB devices, so i thought i give it a try.
Since i cant yet post on dev threads, i started this thread so people try it themselves, and maybe post findings here and on Bin4ry's original thread.

I had originally tried to do it OTA and in the process wiped the phone to get rid of the modified status only to be put in queue for the OTA. I have had my Note II for a day now and I love it but I seem to have an issue. I rooted and installed CWM 6.0.1.5 (modified version by Philz I believe) using Odin and I of course made a backup of my stock rooted ROM before I started flashing anything but when I tried to restore my Nand it says that it cant find the files and cant open the location.

I need some assistance restoring a backup of my sites home directory .tar.gz file.
When I attempt to restore the backup from cPanel I receive "Problem loading page - The connection was reset" error. There isn't a proxy or firewall causing the issue.
If someone could help me restore the home dir that would be much appreciated.

So if I don't flash roms or anything to revert to stock could i just use the factory reset built in to phones settings app (Razr HD XT925) and would that make it back to a fresh phone with no signs of root?

Since my phone got upgraded to ZVD by LG (with some Verizon add-ons like the power-on sound which is cool :)) and I wanted my data back from GSE, I went into CWM and did an advanced restore from the backup I did prior to returning the phone and it restored all my data, apps, wallpaper, etc back to how they were.

I run F12. Since some days my laptop has become very sluggish. In Mozilla, switching between the tabs takes like seconds instead of fraction of a second. Also minimizing and mximizing windows takes long. Switching between the windows too takes long. Now I can't see the cursor while typing this post.

The micro usb port on my phone has gotten loose over the last few days, and so T-mo is sending me out a replacement phone. I would like to completely backup my phone (ideally to my dropbox folder) so I can easily restore all of my apps and settings on the new vibrant when it comes. I already have Astro, and have backed up my apps to my SD card.
