OK so I'm having a problem with getting the gallery to display anything. I have tried installing several different ROMs to include unrooting and restoring stock. The gallery just show hitting and I have pictures on their because other programs can see them. Also I have cleared data for gallery and still a no go.

So I am having huge problems with the gallery app of my new Galaxy S4. Whenever I start the gallery app, I see only see the action bar and a black screen and it takes up to 5 seconds until I see the folders with the pictures and when I click on an album, it might take more than one minute to show me the contents, which usually is just a black picture. So not even really the contents.
I just got the 4.2.2 system update notification on my phone from Verizon. Before I install it, I wanted to make sure the 4.2 camera/gallery I installed a while back (installed from zip using CWM, renamed old cam/gallery files if I remember right) wouldn't cause the update to error out. I'm rooted and on stock 4.1.1 Build JRO03O other than the newer camera/gallery. Thanks.
When I trying to use Gallery widgets . I have a issue with it .
This class was deprecated in API level 16.
This widget is no longer supported.
So maybe someone less noobish can clarify for me. In most of the ICS ROMs I've tried including the official TELUS one, the camera and gallery look identical to the ones in Gingerbread. In CM9 I see the camera and gallery that look like ICS to me.
There is even an app in the Play Store called Gallery ICS which looks like it.
So am I missing something here?
Hi.
I guess my question is can my HTC One S have 4.2 camera and gallery without Rooting?
I don't like my gallery or camera app on 4.1.1. I have now. They don't seem fluid with Sense 4.1 on top as well.
It would be great if i could do this without root; does anyone know of a way?.
I've tried Quickpic and some other gallery apps but none are measuring up.
When I was running the stock rooted T-Mobile ICS rom I was able to send pictures to my tv from the gallery.
When viewing a picture in Gallery a button in the top right corner of the screen would show to send to another display.
I'm running Win8 and for my LG tv I have installed PLEX media server on my PC, so when the Plex is running my SG3 is having issue to open the gallery, it's opened but not responding at all for 5-10 minutes, and after that gallery is slow, if I close Plex, gallery opens in 2-3 sec. I think its syncing my PLEX files, but how to stop that.
My google+ account synchronized with my GN Gallery app. And there is no option to delete the picture from the Gallery and its a bit annoying for me. I already removed the sync setting to my Gallery but the pictures are still there. Anyone can help me??
