[Q] Playing 1080p mp4 movies on LANIGHT v4.2 DATADATA

http://forum.xda-developers.com – I'm running LANIGHT v4.2 DATADATA and playing 1080p mp4 movies do no play right. I get message stating that file can't be played by hardware and attempts to play through soft decoding of apps (use mobo player and mx player), the movies starts but lags terribly and after a couple of minutes it starts fast forwarding continously and wont stop if I don't manually do it. When I try to seek through the movie it will start at the last played part or restart, while audio is out of sync. Any thoughts or a way to update codecs or force hard decoding which was default when was running hellybean and tea (HowTos)

I am using 2.3.5 official update. 720p videos are working fine with MX player with hardware decoding on. But 1080p videos are not working with hardware decoding. It plays with a lot of lag with software decoding in MX player. I am wondering if I overclock the device will it play 1080p videos with software decoding. Is there any other way I can play 1080p videos on this device.

Hello everybody,

ICS on P7510 amazes me again, this time with Google Play Movies. It came with ICS (UK update), my son made a short movie, which showed in the filelist in Play Movies. Suddenly, the Google Play Movies shortcut disappeared from my Tab, although in my app list in Google Play, it appeared as installed.

I am working on music player which plays audio stream from URL. My problem is when I move seek bar position back the again it starts buffering but in reality it should be able to play old buffer data when I move seek bar to previous position.

Suppose I have reached 50% of song length and if I move back say to 30% it again starts streaming. I do not know how to handle it. Again I am explaining: I

At first I used some version of Mx player and every video/movie played perfect to me. After updating mx player everything went to hell. Only few smaller videos(american dad 170mb.mp4) are barely watchable, but other mp4 wich is 445mb, lags a lot and sound always skips ahead and stops to wait video. I have not tried with other formats because all my media is mp4.

Hopefully you can help me out here im having a bit of trouble. I have Sony's NSX-46GT1 HDTV and what i am looking to do is Plug my External HD into the TV through USB and then play my movies from my EXT HD on the TV.
