I got my one x last week and rooted it a few days ago via the all in one method found here ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1952426 ) and everything worked including superuser. After a few days of use I decided to try the icecoldjelly aokp rom found here ( http://onexroot.com/one-x-roms/iceco...android-4-1-2/ ). The rom flash said successfull and so did the gaps zip.
So, my power button does not work, only on really rare occasions, so I downloaded the "no lock" app so my volume rockers can turn my phone display on.
Today my phone died, and I left it on the charger for 3 hours. I came back and it still wouldnt turn on.
I have Nexus S GT-i9023, not rooted, running Jelly Bean 4.1.1 for more than 1-month now.
Today I was uninstalling un wanted apps and the phone slowed up. The un-installation was killed due to no response.
Meanwhile I had an incoming call, I attended and while attending the phone just went dead.
I was trying to use the one click root I am on version 2.3.6. After I flashed the first time it rebooted just and the instructions stated. Then I was told to flash bootloaders. I did then my phone got stuck in boot loop then turned off. I just realize I was in the wrong forum and used the wrong file. Now I cannot get into download mode or any other mode. I cannot turn on phone.
My phone isn't charging properly. It isn't recognizing that it's plugged in although I've tried different outlets and 2 different chargers that do work. I have some luck charging it while plugged into the Wii or ps3 USB ports.
Anyone else experienced this or know what can be done?

My phone died on me yesterday since I forgot to charge it the day before, it was dead in my pocket for 3 hours until I got home.
Without bothering to do anything, I simply plugged my dead phone into the charger and went to bed.
I am now banging my head on my desk after several hours of trying to resolve this issue.
Bought phone used a few weeks ago. Every thing has been working fine. Yesterday the phone froze up while answering a call. Now the phone's power button stopped waking up the phone. It will wake up if I plug it into the charger.
I have a rooted droid bionic with eclipse rom. I accidentally dropped my phone really bad and now the power/lock button is broken. I have no way of turning it on. When I plug the phone with the charger it'll turn on, but it'll only show the battery screen showing me that it's charging. I can get into recovery because I simultaneously hold the volume keys before I plug the charger.
Hi all,
this may sound dumb, but i can't seem to charge or turn on my nexus 4.
i received my phone, plugged in the charger and a solid red notification light turned on. then i tried to power it on and nothing happened.
So i then unplugged it and plugged it in again this time a blinking light and a white charging indicator turned on.
