I bought a phone from eBay. It was stuck in a boot loop. Wasn't unlocked. Guy couldn't figure it out. After a lot of work last night I was able to unlock the boot loader from hboot and somehow get amon ra 3.0.6 recovery on it. I then proceeded to flash business sense ROM. After it flashed it took me back to boot loader and flashed the kernel and it booted and worked perfect all night.
My thunderbolt got stuck in boot loop about a week later after flashing Liquid ICS MR3V1. If I attempt to reboot the phone numerous times it will eventually boot up and work fine. The phone will not allow me to get into recovery - it will just go into boot loop once recovery is selected.
Ok... so I'm stuck and I've been googling and playing with this thing for about 4 hours now.. I'm stuck.
Basically I got S-OFF, installed the stable cyanogen release and got it up and running. I was having a few issues and just decided to go back to my stock installation. I downloaded the RUU package and flashed the ROM onto my phone.
[B]yesterday I overclocked my cpu to 883mhz , the phone made a sound (period of sound time was lower than a second)
and phone got hang , i take out the battery after that i go to recovery and i did all wipes but phone stuck at galaxy gio logo,
i flashed stock 2.3.6 via odin and did wipe from stock recovery but after restart looping in boot animation,
then flashed phiexz latest cm7 but it stuck
My phone was charging, and one of my alarms went off. I dismissed it, then all of a sudden all the google services started crashing on me. Messages kept popping up, so I rebooted the phone.
After doing that, I'm stuck in the Cyanogen boot up animation. I've tried taking the battery out multiple times and that didnt fix a thing.
Suggestions?
Hi, I have a rooted Nexus S 4G and I was in the process of installing a new rom using TWARP. I did all the usual things like factory wipe, delvak cache wipe etc. and then flashed the zip file and rebooted my phone. My phone rebooted to the Google screen with the unlocked icon and then went to the black screen. The navigation buttons are lit up but I don't get an animation screen or anything else.
Last night my phone started getting stuck in a boot loop.
I've followed all the steps to unbrick the phone, multiple times, trying each firmware version available at this post: http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-...our-phone.html.
When I used ZVD it continued to boot loop.
Hello,
I have American Android on my phone. After a few weeks of stability, the screen turned black and I was unable to get the phone to respond to any buttons anymore. I took the battery out of the phone and restarted it. It's stuck in the boot screen with the cyan Android animation.
Hi Guys,
Used the ROM Toolbox to change my boot animation several times successfully (over numerous months). Last change, on the next reboot, I get the Google splash screen, then black. The phone actually boots fine, but you can't properly wake the screen any more.
