I use this app with my nexus 7 (2012) daily, since getting my nexus 7 (2013) it doesn't work.
It seems I cannot power the serial port ( doesnt support power input).
Is there any other way of getting more power to the usb? I will be out and about so no mains power.
Would a USB Y cable with external power help at all?
hoping someone can give some advice as I'm running out of ideas. Essentially what happens is that my Desire S powers off whilst I am using it, mostly whilst I am navigating through the phone or using any kind of App (not always immediately, but always after a few minutes). I can power it up again afterwards but it will not boot up all the way & instead powers off again.
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, I'm not an electrical person, I'm a mechanical engineer...
I'm building a system to run some tests, which requires a heater to be automatically turned on and off. The coding is done through LabView, and is is currently running on a NI myDAQ. The problem is the output ports don't supply the current necessary to get the heater to its proper output.

im using a clean install of lubuntu 13.10 32bit. my external hard drive no longer shows up in pcmanfm unless i disconnect and reconnect the power source. after i do this it usually remains connected for a minute or two and then completely disappears.
I accidentally plugged the wrong power supply (used the power supply for my other external harddrive) into my 1TB external harddrive earlier, and not the harddrive doesn't seem to turn on. I put in the power cord, and nothing. Usually I'd hear it make some noise about 2 seconds after plugging in the cord, then Ubuntu would mount the drive, but now nothing happens.
