i need help please!! i have instaled on my samsung galaxy s3 gt-i9300 SU PROversion and the triangle away...i can make OTA updates but when is installing it stops every time on 25%...any sugestions??
Hi. My first time posting so in really new to this.
I have a Samsung Galaxy SIII which is rooted but I do not use root apps anymore. I tried to unroot which I did and looks like it worked but also not 100% sure. All im trying to do is do Software Updates but its not working. It keeps saying "Your device has been modified.
So after I rooted my phone, I found out that rooting set my binary counter to 1 and Samsung doesnt allow me to update to latest version. I tried using this app called "Voodoo OTA rootkeeper" that temporarily unroots my phone. I also found out that I needed to use Triangle Away in order to reset the binary counter.
Why is this JB update and news all over the place. I still can't figure out if there's an official release or not.
Additionally, I'm reading now that I missed out on updates, ones which are crucial before installing JB. Can someone please tell me why I'm not getting updates? Not the newer build nor JB. Why is Samsung hating on me?
I'm thinking of upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy S4 when I'm due for it. I wanted to know how good Samsung is with handing out the Google updates? I want a good Android phone that gives me my updates when needed.
Now we know why updates aren’t always available to everyone right from the start. It’s because problems can arise. AT&T pulled the Android 4.3 update for the Galaxy S 4, and now Samsung has pulled the 4.3 update for the global version of the Galaxy S III (GT-I9300).
Once you look at this list, you will wonder how the update was approved in the first place.
Admittedly I love Samsung phones and always have even thou I use to have an iPhone a year ago, the only problem is I hate Samsung ls updates, apple is so much better when they release their updates. Apple would say it'll be released on that date and it would, all Samsung would say is December, that really doesn't help and it most probably won't even get released.
Samsung unveiled their new Galaxy Gear wristbound wearable devices today at their Unpacked Event. The new accessory is heavily geared toward interaction with the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3, but updates are promised so Galaxy Gear will also work with Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S 4, and Galaxy Note II devices.
