Hello last night I rooted my phone and installed Jellybomb Domination 5.0. This morning I get a pop for a Andriod System Update that is 81mb. This is the message:
This software update includes new enhancements and improvements for your Samsung Galaxy S III.
Sorry this took so long. Had a little emergency out of town...
This will be the way to manually update your phone if you are:
Rooted or Unrooted - Stock Rom with all needed bloatware and Stock recovery. Note: You must be current and have MA6 on your phone before using the update file.
Download the following update zip and place it on your external sd.
Hi,
Recently i have rooted my phone. Yesterday i got this message that there was a software update available, so i donwloaded the update. When it restarted to apply the update it booted into ClockWorkMod Recovery and i couldn't boot it normally anymore. I have already tried to apply the update in clockworkmod, but it says: can't find /sdcard/update.zip no such file or directory.
6:10am Eastern. No update pushed yet.
That's fine. Been patient for this long waiting for AT&T to finally push a software update allowing multi-window use on the Note II.
Thing is, now that I have checked for a software update this morning, all further checks come with a message:
Current software is up to date.
Hi Everyone, I am a newbie, a recent blackberry convert. I have a new droid razr maxx hd that is set up perfectly and I *do not* want the jellybean update that is being pushed to my phone. I have rooted the phone, it is on ics 4.04 and I have installed titanium backup pro. I deleted device manager and have frozen the 3 oma apps, but I keep getting the update window for .7.2 en every few hours.

hi, dose anyone have the same problem i have?
ive been trying to update my note (gt-n7000) and from september as i heard about 4.1, went i try OTA, my phone now says, ''failed to update due to network or server problems.
It certainly is better to be late than never, and that’s exactly what the international Motorola RAZR (XT910) can say considering the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the device has finally arrived.
I have a rooted S3 with CWM at my recovery image and the OTA update came out and everytime i try to update, the update downloads but when the phone reboots into recovery/download mode, it fails right there and doesnt install the update. How can go ahead and make this happen and fix the issue that I have. Im afraid i might have to unroot and then update. HELPPPP!!!!
