http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hello XDA, After rooting my SGS2 i9100, my data connection stopped working. I am with Virgin mobile(Australia) and I can still call people and SMS. I flashed the latest stock Optus firmware even though I am with Virgin with Kies and spoofFW. Information about phone: Android Version: 4.0.4 Baseband Version: i9100XXLQ6 Kernel Version: 3.0.15-1056084 dpi@DELL168#3 SMP PREEMPT Wed Aug 22 22:55:24 KST 2012 Build Number: IMM76D.XWLPW I have read that it might be a problem relating to the modem but am confused on how to proceed. I updated my SGS2 to 4.0.4 via Kies and lost root. I'd like to root it again but I don't know how!! Please help.

i am so new at this and really need help from you guys.

i have read several thread about how to root your phone and already stuffed with some general ideas of what is rooting, and some terms like rom and kernel. but yet still confused about how to really start the rooting itself.

i gave galaxy s ii and its rooted and i have a custom rom more specificly : android version 4.0.4 baseband version I9100XXLQ5 kernel version 3.0.15-I9100XXLQ5-CL753921 build number Checkrom RevoHD V7

So i want back my stock rom because i want to connect my phone with KIES also my phone is rooted and i use CWM and superuser

I bought a new phone today and changed providers from Verizon to Virgin Mobile. I transfered over my old number (and therefore closed my Verizon account), and as I was told my old phone stopped being able to text/call saying the account has been deactivated. My new phone, however, will not send or receive calls or texts.
