I would just like to ask if I have the same experience with you guys regarding the battery usage. I installed battery widget to track my battery percentage. I notice that my battery were discharging and skipping the percentage. Sometimes i'm just browsing my phone (No internet, no 3g.) and the battery goes down from 65% to 60%. I notice this since I'm on Jelly Bean.
I just flashed cm11 from stock on my G2. I'm enjoying the customizations and such, but I seem to be losing battery faster than normal. Most of the batter usage is by the OS, according to the battery info screen.
bought an xperia s few days back...its battery life is downright pathetic i get 4-5hrs of battery life on moderate usage...did a factory reset today but still nothing....i keep the display at 50% brightness and the bravia engine off
i am on .45 ics firmware
and on a side note is it just me or does the camera sucks the pics especially the indoor ones are way to noisey
I have this weird brightness issue that started today on the stock mail client. Whenever I go into the mail client on the main page and if I open an e-mail the brightness on the display actually goes down, I do not have auto brightness and the actual brightness slider doesn't move since I am at 1% brightness before I launch the app (and I have display brightness and that doesn't change).
I tried using Fn+<- to turn the brightness down, and it showed the little sun icon indicating the brightness was turning down, but it didn't do anything.
I also tried xbacklight -set 100 but that didn't do anything either.
The description says it all. I had up-to-date drivers for my display (Radeon 7700 series) before the OS update and now there seems to be some incompatibility with Win 8.1. I tried reverting back to the last driver versions, and although this solved my brightness issue, the last versions have some incompatibility with display and speed, which they had with Win 8.0 as well.
