I noticed that by default this phone is setup to use "Global" as the preferred network mode. I'm thinking that means it'll try to use CDMA, LTE, and GSM networks.
I was aimlessly wondering around the internet looking for a replacement camera for my i9020 and I noticed they have a sim card slot/board out there a well.
So when the merge is complete and the cdma gets shut down does that mean I can't switch the Galaxy s3 to cdma(3g) when I want to save battery and the signal would be stuck on LTE??
I was running Devil Toast 0.7.1 just fine, and got a text message. Went to reply, noticed that my signal was X instead of the normal. Thinking it was a fluke, I rebooted the phone. Still X.
Since then, I've wiped caches, switched ROMs, reflashed ROMs, nothing is turning that radio back on. I've also tried using *#*#4636#*#* and that didn't do anything either.
This morning, out of the blue, I can't send text messages on my Nexus. I've tried using my preferred app (GOsms Pro) and the stock messaging app with same result. I've rebooted. I've pulled the battery and sim card. Still no luck. I can make phone calls no problem. Data usage for web and apps is working fine. Even tried changing network mode from LTE/CDMA to CDMA and back and still no luck.
I have an HTC Desire CDMA, S-OFF, MIUI rom. It's been working fine with the new rom for 2 months. Today after I got off a call, it wouldn't complete calls and now it keeps going off and on and off and on. So now would I just download the froyo update from us cellular's website and go from there? Currently DLing that right now to see if what they'll do at the store will work or not.
Ok I know this my fault in doing this but I just wanna know how to fix this. (If there's a way to fix).
So the other day I was poking around and I made the stupid mistake of flashing one of those oversea roms that's non-cdma. Since then I've restored a working rom and several others trying to get my 4g back up and working w/ no luck.
First - I'm not noob, but not a developer either. I'm about to sell my Rezound which has only seen about two months real use. I am now on AT&T with a One X (yes I love HTC). Anyway, I recently flashed one of the GSM roms in hopes that I'd be able to use the Rezound as one of my AT&T phones. I then found out that you only get AT&T's Edge - no 3G, 4G, LTE, etc.
Hi,
i have a GS3 and have certain IM apps installed such as Chaton and whatsapp. they are working fine over wi-fi but as soon as I switch to 3G, they stop working. Any suggestions what is the problem..
