I've searched and tried several apps to link ringer and notification. I love TouchWiz, but this is the ONE thing that pushes me to a CM ROM. I don't want to have to open an app each time i want to change both options. I came from an Optimus V and a Thunderbolt after. Both were able to link Ringer/Notification volumes.
My Samsung Galaxy S 5 allows the ringer and notification volumes to be different. Despite this, Llama is complaining that Android 4.0+ does not allow different volumes, and is giving me the options to "Use volumes anyway", "Moan to Google", or "Make volumes the same".
So I think this is the same for all androids.
I may put my phone on vibrate when I'm on the home screen, but then if I click on a game, sometimes the volume comes on because there seems to be 2 different volumes, one for ringer and one for media. Is there any way just to make one volume for the entire android system? It seems alot better this way to me.
When playing music or Chromecast, if I hit volume key to change ringer volume or notification volume it just does it for music or cc, is there an easy way to adjust those volumes without going into settings? Thought u would be able to click the cc icon after u hit volume but that won't work
I just flashed the AOKP ROM a while ago and I have Audio Control installed with silent mode set and every time my phone reboots, my notification/ringer volume always goes up to the second loudest volume. Idk if this is caused by the ROM or the Audio Control app but is there a way to fix this?
I am using a Moto X 2nd Gen device running Lollipop on Verizon Wireless. If I have my volume for ringer/notifications set to vibrate and then I access Moto Voice (e.g OK Moto X, what is the weather?) for some reason the volume on ringer/notifications is increased to close to 70% of max.
I'm really surprised by this it seems kind of a useless thing to me but when pushing the volume button down it lowers the volume of the ringtone but not the notification volume? I have to click on the volume settings and lower it manually.
Is anyone else experiencing this? or know of any way to link the two so that notifications would be the same volume as the ringtone?
