I just successfully rooted my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Odin and CWM Recovery.
This is exactly what I did:
- D/L Odin 3.04 and "cwm6-root-note2.tar" and saved them to my Desktop
- Extracted Odin and started the program
- Set my Note 2 to USB Debugging
- Restarted the Note 2 in "Downloading Mode" by holding down Volume Down, Home & Power buttons simultaneous
Easiest way to root NOTE 2 in less than 1 minute.
All credits goes to Chainfire.
1. Download ExynosAbuse-v1.40.apk from
2. place them in your note2
3. install ExynosAbuse-v1.40.apk
4. open app and press ''root device''
5.
Hi
The problem is I cannot get into recovery (Whether stock recovery or custom I tried fresnel rom, speedmod rom 3-15, AbyssNotekernel42CWTouchOriginalLogo ) I know the button press sequence.
There was a time I was good at this. All I can do now is just trip my flash counter or brick my devices.
Download the file.
Unzip
Set the device in download mode (yes, my drivers work)
Run odin
Point the PDA to the tar file.
Flash. The thing reboots, odin says pass!
Try to boot into recovery and only get the stock recovery.
I have done this several times now. And same thing.
Hi guys i just bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 from Thailand
It has lot of apps in chinese.
I recently bought a used Samsung Galaxy S2X and it was already rooted running DarkSide's ROM. I didn't see this when i bought it but I can't seem to turn the phone off or boot into recovery mode.
I tried installing the 4.2.1 rom on my LG Optimus 2x and got stuck in a boot loop after rebooting. I can't access the clockworkmod recovery, when I hold volume down and press power button to boot into recovery mode, I get this screen with korean text that I don't understand. I could only access clockworkmod recovery mode by using the rom mamager app before I started flashing the new rom.
I have an LG Marquee Boost rooted with CM7 ROM I was Soft Bricked before in Bootloop and was able to get into Recovery and fixed that issue with PlayfulGods Root CWM script because i had the wrong version of CWM Recovery anyways this time lol.....I flashed CM7 Perfectly then i was looking around with the new ROM and made a Grand Mistake by Going to ROM Manager and flashing the LG Optimus Blac
Yesterday I installed Avast AntiTheft on AllianceRom JB XXLSC beta 1.1 in root mode. After passing the configuration of the module and several reboots, I wanted to get into settings. The animation of the opening of the application began and the phone freezed. I made a reboot to recovery but it won't pass the Samsung Galaxy Note logo. I restarted to normal mode.
