http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hi guys, This has happened to my mother in law, I dont have access to the device, just what she has told me. She updated to ICS 4.0.3. T-mobile Uk stock. Since then the home screen bar at the bottom (app draw, phone, personalise) Disappeared. The phone and people icons have disappeared from app drawer. Managed to change the scene and got the home screen bar back. But the phone button does not link to the phone.apk. nothing happens when pressed. Was thinking of downlaoding the stock ics phone and people aps's, but not sure if it will work. Thanks guys any help will be appre (HowTos)

Hi, i have an international Galaxy S3 (i-9300). I recently updated to Jelly Bean via Samsung Kies (baseband version I9300DXDLI5) and there's a change that has been bugging me. In stock ICS, when the screen turned off due to inactivity, pressing either the power button or the home button would turn on the screen and lets me pick up where i left off.

My mom just got the Nexus. I went to set everything up for her. I have 2 issues.

1. I updated the firmware from 4.0.2 to 4.04. It went smooth. When I went to set a voicemail icon on her home screen, the phone does not have it. I looked at the apps and its not there.

2.

I have a galaxy ace and my contacts have all disappeared. I have tried going into contacts then opening the menu, then pressed, more, display options and have looked for sim there but cant find it. I have tried to add a new contact to my sim but it only lets me save to phone or gmail and not my sim anymore.

Hi Guys,

In the past few days ive noticed that if i dont check my phone regularly it will simply refuse to wake up (screen on). I know the phone is still working as the LightFlow settings still use the notification light when needed. I have also had situations where the phone wakes up but theres no touch functions, but locking and waking up again fixes that in 1 try.

hi guys, i recently started to update my htc desire s to the new 2.3.5 but after a power failure my phone will not go past the t-mobile screen, ive booted using the volume buttons bt can't seem to do anything on there either, when i try to factory reset all i get is the update screen but then it goes to a picture of a phone with a red warning triangle, im absolutely lost and i dont have a phone to

I don't use any lock screen and I always use the home button to wake my phone up.

Since official JB, the home button not only wakes the phone up but it closes the app I'm in.

Hey guys I've been experiencing random freezes on my phone mainly while connected to the internet,the phone freezes and completely stops working, I can hit the home button infinite times that nothing happens, I can lock the screen but they I can not do anything, so I then have to press the power and lock key until it reboots!

Hi, I update my htc one x to the jelly bean update yesterday. I have been on stock all this while and updated to the official ota. I have not installed any roms yet or unlocked the phone. Since i updated i seem to be having a strange problem. When the phone goes to sleep for prolonged periods, and i try to turn it on, the screen remains black.
