When I bought my first Android phone, a T-Mobile G2, I searched around for a second battery. I found the battery on the original Evo was a perfect fit (if I filed down two of the edges), and used that as my backup until I upgraded to the GNex that I currently have.
I went across a thread talking about external battery case, OP mentioned one battery case with 6000mAh capacity. Some members posted to say 6000mAh is a little high, 3000mAh and make it a pretty darn long time is enough. You need to charge the 6000mAh battery seperate and you can charge 3000mAh battery at the same time with the phone.
Hello. I bought a HTC one X in China and send it to my GF who's in UK. But she constantly get charging problems.
The problem is like this:
1) Can't charge at all using AC adapter if the battery is not empty. The battery bar just keep decreasing no matter whether you pluged the power line or not. (Faster with the line pluged).
Most of us are having problem with the battery's short hour. One solution is to use a bigger capacity battery which is a third party battery.
Is it safe to use a third party battery?
I have looked around and there is some 2000 mAh batteries for w. I think it is made in china or japan.
Is it a good idea to use these batteries? Or should I stick with the original from Samsung?
OK so i installed almost every ROM on there and here is what i found.
TOP.
:good: CleanGB ---- Takes the crown, super fast battery charge in less then 45minutes the battery is full. Over a period of 8 hours in stand by(as i sleep) the battery did not drop at all.
 CM9 ---- Took over 2.5 hours to charge the battery, in 8 hours it dropped 12% battery life.
Hello,
I recently purchased a galaxy s3 lte with the extended 3000mah battery. I have found the battery drain to be unusually high. it is draining at around 3% an hour. I am on the sentinel ROM. I changed to the normal slim battery and it also seemed to be draining at a similar rate.
I flashed a battery mod for one x from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1588789
but I forgot the important points that were written and flashed the zip which was meant for de-odexed roms only, on a stock rom
and I didnt make a backup at the time (sorry for being lazy :p - but thats how we learn I guess)
I do have an old backup, but its 2-3 days old and is a backu
Usually I charge my battery at night. Then use it all day.
My battery have 30-40% left on next day evening.
But on yesterday evening, I transfer data from PC to my phone via USB cable.
It takes around 10-15 minute.
I don't know how many battery left before connect but It should have 30-40% as usual.
but affter I disconect my phone. I notice that my battery is 95%.
My phone is charged completely. After a couple minutes of being on battery power, it switches to 0% and shuts off. As soon as it does I can turn my phone on, which will indicate the 100% battery charge. I can stay in Clockworkmod all day, infact I've wiped everything, recovered from a restore point, and wiped all user data all on battery power.
