Ok I was messing around with my phone and figured out how to force the update for the radio and software on stock rom. NO ROOT, NO CUSTOM RECOVERY! You DO need to have S-Off. Just do the juno bear's S-Off stuff. Once S-Off run the stock RUU. Your bootloader will be "LOCKED" and not "RELOCKED" but you will still be S-Off.
With all this OTA talk, I've been getting many questions about accepting and OTA while stock rooted.
IF you are stock rooted, you can't get an OTA update because you most likely have a custom recovery installed (Clockworkmod).
To accept this OTA, you will need to install the STOCK recovery.

This is a stock, deodex update zip created from the nandroid I created after updating to the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean JRO03C 10.4.2.15 update (US)... And here's what you need to know about this...
1. Completely stock (Asus) ROM (including stock kernel & recovery)

This will be the way to manually update your phone if you are:
Rooted or Unrooted - Stock Rom with all needed bloatware and Stock recovery. Note: You must be current and have MA6 on your phone before using the update file.
Download the following update zip and place it on your external sd.

I'm returning my phone for issues with the power button being unresponsive and wanted to relock the bootloader and return it to stock software and recovery. I'm good on everything except the recovery.
Looking for a little help for a friend of mine. Her E4GT is not rooted and yesterday she accepted the OTA update without an SD card present. I don't know what exactly happened but the aftermath resulted in her phone being stuck on the first splash screen.
I have a rooted S3 with CWM at my recovery image and the OTA update came out and everytime i try to update, the update downloads but when the phone reboots into recovery/download mode, it fails right there and doesnt install the update. How can go ahead and make this happen and fix the issue that I have. Im afraid i might have to unroot and then update. HELPPPP!!!!

my HOX cannot install the new system update over OTA for ASia device.
when i install update it goes to the cockwork recovery .So i try to revert it to Stock recovery but when i start the bootloader and connect it to my Laptop , it show the message like "failed to open usb master mode..."
