http://forum.xda-developers.com – I am looking at purchasing a HTC HD2 from ebay. Unfortunately, it was from a "batch of phones that had left the suppliers locked" The supplier eventually offered a refund and he also, maybe inadvertently kept the phone as well. When he now puts in the SIM card the message reads --"Service provider is locked. Please input unlock code." Apparently you can have these unlocked, but one site states that "This service will NOT remove your phone’s security lock" Can somebody please explain to me what this means? Is it correct that you can only enter the unlock code 5 t (HowTos)

So basically this is my situation:

- Phone locked to Koodo. - Bought unlock code. - Entered the codes in the menu 2945#*555# - Got a successful entered code message.

Now everytime I use the new sim card I get "The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly.

Today I got a replacement Droid 3, my old Droid 3 had camera issues. I switched over the SIM card, SD card, and battery from the old to the new phone, activated it, and everything works well except the new phone doesn't seem to be recognizing the SIM card.

Hi I have an xperia x10 mini pro. U20i Today i bought a Sim network unlock code for 43 EURO! from my service provider "Telenor".

I just followed the instructions,but the network cant be unlocked. I asked my provider but they told me to contact sony ericsson.

I have tryed the code 3 times. After 5 try the code will be blocked. :crying:

My phone is rooted.

I received an unlock code from AT&T for my One XL. The unlock code comes up as unsuccessful. I followed the unlock instructions exactly. And I've called back and verified that AT&T has the correct IMEI and double checked the unlock code. I've never had an issue unlocking a phone before.

I really need to get this status to be "locked" because I need to go to HTC care to claim my phone and they said that I need to do "locked" before claiming it. What should I do? Help me please. Just traded my xperia s yesterday but by some coincidence my friend came to me with a problem with their one.

The phone is locked to orange UK and my friend had bought an unlock code from cell unlocker , however (because he is daft) he has actualy managed to put the code in wrong more than 10 times and the service status menu has an x and 0 next to the nw which means that he has no more unlock

Need a little help,I followed the instructions(root and install different build prop) perfectly but when i put the unlock code in it says unsucessful and goes to the emergency call screen.the sim im putting in is an att one and it works.

What should I do?I got the code from Unlock Fusion.

The emergency call screen says "searching for service,no sim card" but the sim card obviously
