hey guys,
I'm trying to set up a profile so that when the screen goes off data goes off and when screen goes on data goes on. That's the easy part which i managed to do by myself. Now I'd like to add this to the profile: when the screen is off, I want the data to go on every 20 minutes for 30 seconds. Is that even possible? lol (I wanna make sure I get my emails and all the syncing).
Hi guys,
I've created this topic, because I have some questions, I'm new at android. I want to install a custom ROM(CyanogenMod 9.1) and want to make sure I'll do everything right.
I would like to talk with you guys and girls too obviously about different ways to make json data retrieve faster on Android apps.
For example, i have an android app which takes items from my server by json to finally display them on a Google Map, but i noticed the app is very slow retrieving the data.
So this are my questions:
I'm convinced the hosting service is important, what about you?

Guys, I accidentaly formatted the data and all the SD card from my Desire using the 4EXT Recovery. I didn't even make a Nandroid backup. Now, I haven't any custom ROM, so my phone boots directly into the bootloader menu.
Tried with flashing with the Android Flasher but failed in some processes during the flash.
I have a huawei u8950d which I wanna root.
Its bootloader has been locked but I found a way to root a locked device: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1461736
So I've make those following codes to a bat file:
Code:
adb push mempodroid /data/local/tmp
adb push su /data/local/tmp
adb push Superuser.apk /data/local/tmp
adb shell
cd /data/local/tmp
chmod 777 ./mempodroid
Ok well, i guess i'll start with a little background info here.
I've been racking my brain for the past few days trying to get MetroPCS data on my droid. I finally came across a custom rom with a kernel that supports IPTables
Everything is finally working as it should, the data connection is up.
Finally, I finished this project!
Today I'm Present you the ultimate custom change of my phone.
For this theme you will need:

Start by copy everything to sd card.

I'm currently working on a App that uses a custom TileSource to display data on Google Maps. I get those data in form of *.png images, and I'm using the URLTileProvider.
Everything is working well, but I'm now trying to make the TileLayer transparent, or at least, partly. The goal is, that the layer is visible but the underlying Google Maps still shines through.
