I am taking baby steps for the moment after having found that my S2-I9100 is vulnerable to the infamous Brick Bug (Yes, I have an insane chip).
Just wondering what benefits there would be in flashing the Siyah Kernel (v4.1.5) on my S2-I9100 running a stock Samsung ICS 4.0.4 ROM.

Hi,
What must I do to backup my Kernel on a rooted Galaxy S2?
Hey,
I own an i9100 phone that was previously running CM10.1 with the Siyah kernel. I was kinda getting sick of CM, so I decided to try and go back to the stock firmware. I went and downloaded a ROM of the stock firmware from The Pirate Bay, (XWLS8), put it into Odin in the PDA slot, left everything else as it is, and flashed. Odin told me that the flash succeeded.

Hi Im new to this forum but I hope people will still help me
Well, like the title says, i got a korean galaxy s II rooted with tegrak kernel. I rooted by flashing siyah kernel first, but because the phone did not boot, i flashed tegrak kernel after that. Now, i havent really seen any confirmation for custom roms to work on the tegrak kernel and i dont want to risk to brick my phone...
