Bad luck! I cracked my nexus 7 screen just after I got it one month. The screen is unresponsive. I found this Nexus 7 LCD Screen and Digitizer Assembly. And also the Nexus 7 Digitizer Touch Screen. The LCD assembly is really too expensive. Hope I don't have to replace it. Which part do I have to replace? Anyone who know please help.
Hi Everyone,
I am having issues with my previously rooted Nexus 7. My device was rooted when it first came with Nexus 7 toolkit v2.0 and was rooted successfully. After an update to android 4.2 via the OTA updates, the root status was taken off from the device so I've used to tookit again to restore the root.
Finally decided to try pairing my PS3 controller to my Nexus.
When I connect the cable to the controller it is supposed to turn on and then connect to the device, as I've read in many topics and seen in youtube videos.
I'm new to the whole Android thing but I used to install lots of roms on my trusty old Windows Mobile devices over the years. I remember then that trying out different roms sometimes meant things would stop working.
Here's my problem. I have a Nexus 7 and it works fine on stock unrooted 4.1.2. I think. I've used the Nexus Root Toolkit to (very easily) unlock and root it.
Those of you that pre-ordered your Nexus 7 should be receiving it in the next week or so. If you plan on unlocking and rooting it, you’ve come to the right place. We have all the instructions and download links to get your Nexus 7 primed and ready for customizing it to your delight.
Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster.
I currently have an iPad 3 that I'm thinking of giving to my mum and have been looking at Android tablets. Firstly, I would only consider Nexus devices as I'm too lazy these days to mess with custom ROMs and prefer the aesthetic and update promptness of a Nexus device, hence I've been researching on Nexus 7 and Nexus 10.
coming from a galaxy nexus, it's time for a change. and I'm between the nexus 4 and One X+. keeping in mind the dangerous back glass of the nexus 4, I'm turning to the one x+. but is the 1GB ram vs the 2GB a big difference ? does it have the same acceptance from the developers as the nexus does? (custom ROMs, kernels etc.) any opinions accepted
I'm having trouble figuring out how to transfer files to and from my Nexus 7 (I'm trying to backup and restore the save data from a couple games). The problem is these files aren't in the sdcard folder, they're in the /data/data/ folder on the root of the Nexus 7. Does anyone know how to view the root of the Nexus 7 with Windows 7?
Hey,
i've got a huge problem with my Nexus 7 32 GB 3G. I've had root and i made an update many times without any problem, but once i was making some update of 4.2.2 the device didn't want to turn on and it freezed on Google logo. I tried to do plenty of ways to repair it; unroot, factory reset, wipe... Then i tried to do a flash via Nexus 7 Toolkit, but... there is the problem!
